BUSINESS PERMIT AND LICENSING OFFICE APPLYING / RENEWING A BUSINESS PERMIT

All Enterprises are required to secure a Business license and Mayor’s permit, and pay business taxes before the start of commercial operations.

The licenses must be renewed from January 1 to 20, every year to avail 10% discount and to avoid penalty.

Mayor’s permit for new enterprises are based on capitalization. Those for succeeding years are computed as a percentage of gross receipt/sales. Payment for renewal may be annually, semi annually or quarterly. Taxes are due on the first 20 days each quarter.

For applicant of new and renew Business permits, it takes 30 minutes or less to process new applications. Provided all requirements are met.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW APPLICATIONS :

  • Cooperative Development Authority Registration (for cooperative)
  • Securities and Exchange Commission’s Articles of Incorporation (for corporations)
  • Paid-up capital of the business as shown in the Articles of Incorporation, if a corporation or partnership, or a sworn statement of capital invested by the owner of operator, if a sole proprietorship.
  • Passport size pictures of the owner of operator or in cases of a partnership or corporation, the picture of the senior or managing partners and that of the president or general manager.
  • Certificate attesting to the tax exemption if the business is tax exempt.
  • Department of Trade and Industry Business Name Registration (for sole proprietorship)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR RENEWAL APPLICATIONS :

  • Prior Year Print-out of Mayor’s Permit
  • Sworn statement of Gross Receipts of sales of the preceding calendar year/audited financial statement(BIR)
  • Certificate attesting to the tax exemption if the business is tax exempt.

REQUIREMENTS FOR RETIREMENT OR TERMINATION OF BUSINESS :

  • Barangay Certification of Closure
  • Affidavit of Closure/ Affidavit of Gross Sales or receipt for the current calendar year.
  • Latest Mayor’s Permit

REQUIREMENTS FOR CETIFICATION OF NO BUSINESS :

  • Barangay Certification of No Business.
